Generally Available: Azure Monitor Auxiliary Logs Plan support for Azure tables and plan switching

The Auxiliary table plan in Azure Monitor Logs gives you a cost-effective way to ingest and retain high-volume, verbose logs that you keep for compliance and auditing but rarely query. Two highly requested capabilities are now generally available.
Auxiliary now supports a subset of standard Azure tables, in addition to DCR-based custom tables (_CL). You can keep low-value data on its original standard table — retaining its name, schema, and existing queries — instead of building custom pipelines to reshape it.
You can also switch existing tables between the Analytics and Auxiliary plans without recreating them. The change applies to the table in place, so you keep history, schema, and integrations, and the switch is fully reversible as your workload evolves.
