These terms govern your use of the Cloud Pulse Briefs website and its associated TikTok account (@azureupdates) and YouTube channel (Cloud Pulse Briefing Room). By using this site or connecting a TikTok account to this project, you agree to these terms.

What this service does

Cloud Pulse Briefs automatically generates short video briefings summarizing public Microsoft Azure platform updates and publishes them on this website and to TikTok. Videos, titles, and captions are generated algorithmically from Microsoft's public Azure Updates feed.

Independent, unofficial project

This is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. "Azure" and other product names referenced are trademarks of their respective owners.

No warranty

Content is provided "as is," for informational purposes only, without warranty of accuracy or completeness. Always refer to the official Azure update for authoritative details before making any decision based on this content.

TikTok posting authorization

By connecting a TikTok account to this project (via TikTok's OAuth flow), the account owner authorizes this app to publish videos to that account on their behalf, using the posting defaults they explicitly set through this project's posting-defaults flow. This authorization can be revoked at any time from TikTok's own app-permissions settings, which immediately stops any further automated posting.

YouTube uploads

This project uses YouTube API Services to upload its own generated videos to its own YouTube channel. Use of the channel and its videos is additionally governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. The channel owner authorizes uploads via Google OAuth and can revoke that authorization at any time from Google security settings, which immediately stops any further automated uploading.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cloud Pulse Briefs and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from use of this site, its content, or its TikTok integration.

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
