Generally Available: Document PII NextGen Playground in Azure AI Language
Azure AI Language now offers a refreshed Document PII playground in general availability, giving customers a faster way to evaluate personally identifiable information detection on documents. The playground ships with curated sample inputs and outputs, so practitioners can see how the service handles names, addresses, financial IDs, and health identifiers without uploading their own data first. Reviewers can compare detection results across entity types in a single view, then move to live document uploads when they are ready to test on real content. This release helps compliance, legal, and data protection teams scope a PII redaction project in minutes rather than days.
